I stayed with my Ex Husband for far longer than I'd like to admit, in part because I wasn't sure I was ready to choose me (and potentially being alone) and partly because he was the best of what I'd dated up until that point. The devil you know, and all that.

And yes, I had a really rough spell following the divorce, but looking back from where I am now, I am so glad I went through that.
