I wondering if off-work stresses ALSO contribute to women's quit rate; we're still far more likely than men to pick up the emotional and physical labor at home, so while men work their jobs, women work their jobs AND largely take care of the house and kids (if they have them) leading to extra stress, beyond what you mentioned.
