I also don’t particularly LIKE the piece BUT I can’t deny that it’s powerful. It makes me think of an upset or fed up woman in the late 1800s drawing herself up to full height, straightening her dark colored silk gabardine dress, and marching over to tell someone off who has been violating her boundaries or trying to unit imitate her. I’ll take it!
